The Nokia IP530 is an optimized, high-performance security appliance delivering firewall, VPN and intrusion detection systems to large
enterprises. The Nokia IP530 is optimized for the most demanding network environments such as high traffic e-commerce sites, corporate
data warehouses, and service provider data centers.
Equipped with four integrated 10/100 Ethernet ports, three standard Compact PCI (CPCI) slots for Network Interface Card support and
two type II PCMCIA slots for modem support, the Nokia IP530 is a high port density system. An internal PMC slot allows this appliance the
ability to support VPN hardware acceleration, while preserving external interfaces.
The Nokia IP530, with a variety of connectivity options including 10/100 Ethernet, high speed ATM, HSSI, and wide area network interfaces
such as V.35/X.21, or T1/E1, is easily integrated into any network architecture.
