Nokia IP380 is a new member of the generation of Nokia successful IP300 series of Security Appliances. It’s the first security platform to truly
fulfill customer’s needs in a single rack unit system with an advanced design bringing provider and enterprise level serviceability to medium
enterprise customers. A slide out service tray allows instant installation of new cards or more memory without having to unrack a unit.
Customers can rely on the four integrated and fully routable Ethernet ports or populate a system with up two option slots with dual port Ethernet
or serial WAN cards. Optimized for Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG, the IP380 has outstanding performance for its price, reaching 600 Mbps of
firewall secured throughput and encrypting 3DES VPN with on board encryption chip at 90 Mbps or 130 Mbps with the encryption accelerator card
option. Unlike competitive security offerings that focus on single aspects of business security needs, the IP380 addresses business needs with
a complete, flexible security platform that’s scalable, and serviceable as well as fast and secure.
